Meet Jill Saar.

My favorite quote is “luck is when preparation meets opportunity.” Probably because I’ve always been the type to look a few steps ahead.

This planning mentality has stuck with me throughout my 18 years of experience in the marketing industry. From developing marketing strategies for community non-profits to executing launch campaigns for national brands, I approach every project with the same enthusiasm to establish a clear road map for brands’ marketing efforts.

My passion for communications revolves around the execution phase. I love putting everything into action and tracking the results. This is where I get to best utilize my experience in content development, social media, media relations and project management.

Today, I get to help clients do my two favorite things... prepare and execute.

Meet Andy Cusack.

To me, the core of creativity is the ability to view something from the right perspective. That may involve looking at a problem from a completely different angle, or it may just boil down to simplifying it.

It takes wisdom to know which side of the spectrum contains the right approach. While I’d like to claim to have been born with that wisdom, it’s more of an acquired skill from a lifetime of having a brain that never stops racing.

Analyzing. Dreaming. It’s ALWAYS asking, “What if ... ?”

I’ve been lucky to ask, “What if?” professionally for 20 years. My experience has taken me from being an in-house graphic designer at a Fortune 500 insurance company to being a creative director at a vibrant marketing agency to being a co-owner of On Pitch.

  • Graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Marketing Communications

  • Born in Sumner, Iowa, but grew up in West Des Moines

  • Planted 150 tulips in my garden last year and has more than 50 houseplants

  • Most memorable adventures include ice climbing in Alaska and backpacking in Canyonlands

• Graduated from Drake University with a degree in Graphic Design

• Married for over a decade and Dad to two boys

• Grew up in the Chicago ‘burbs, but finished high school in the Denver ‘burbs. Stuck around Des Moines after finishing at Drake

• Played in a half dozen mediocre bands

• Helped book a dozen 80/35 lineups

• Lifelong fan of the Chicago White Sox
