Jill Haverkamp has more than nine years of marketing experience. She received her bachelor’s degree from Columbia College Chicago in marketing communication and public relations. Upon moving back to her hometown of Des Moines, Jill began working for one of Iowa’s largest marketing agencies, The Integer Group, followed by leading the marketing and public relations efforts for Olde Main Brewing Co., before co-founding On Pitch in 2010. She has extensive experience in media relations, social media, online marketing, content development, media buying and planning, and marketing plan development. Her business strategy is simple: collaborate with clients to raise awareness, drive action and achieve goals. Marketing is her passion and results drive her energy for success.
Andy fell in love with Des Moines while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in graphic design — with a marketing minor — from Drake University, and he’s stuck around ever since. He sharpened his creative and strategic thinking throughout his nine years of professional art direction and graphic design experience. Andy spent six years at The Integer Group (working with clients such as Pella Windows & Doors and Shell) and three years at The Principal Financial Group. He maintained a music blog for Juice for three years, and he launched and ran his own podcast and blog in 2010 called We Hate Music. He spends his “free time” in the spring helping book the 80/35 Music Festival, and he recently planned, booked, promoted and managed the inaugural Shoot The Chutes in August 2013. He brings a passion to create unique ways in which he can help clients look and sound the best they possibly can.
Hillary moved to L.A. to break into music marketing, but she returned to the Midwest to revolutionize it. She believes in pushing boundaries, seizing new ideas and influencing consumers in innovative ways. She’s proof you can launch a brand from Des Moines, Iowa, and do it very successfully. Hillary’s passion is for experience marketing — she’s led social media campaigns and mobilized viral and word-of-mouth promotions. Although she’s pioneering the next era of marketing and audience activation through her extensive experience with digital strategy, she also has a core background in the basics – media planning, sales and event promotions. Hillary has worked with Maverick Records, Twentieth Century Fox, Target, DreamWorks, X-Games, Apple, Nike, Disney and USA Network. Vitalizing the Midwest cultural scene motivates Zoey in her professional endeavors at On Pitch. Her daily puzzle consists of finding the words to best describe an event to gain maximum exposure and utilizing social media savvy to most effectively engage an audience. Specializing in writing, media relations, and communication, Zoey studies journalism and mass communication at the University of Iowa, minoring in English and graphic design. She also serves as the marketing director for the university’s independent concert promoter, SCOPE Productions, which has given her a comprehensive view of what it takes to make great concerts. With a diverse skill set and an acute sense of what’s current in music and technology, Zoey will give your brand the competitive edge its been seeking.
